The Exmoor Tourist Association (ETA), was set up in 1982 to help maximise the benefits of sustainable tourism for its members and to bring members' businesses, and Exmoor, to the attention of people considering visiting Exmoor for holidays and short breaks. Its activities aim to benefit its members, local Exmoor communities and the wellbeing of the Greater Exmoor region (Exmoor and its surrounding areas), by promoting the benefits of Exmoor to potential visitors. It works closely with all appropriate authorities, especially the Exmoor National Park Authority. We are a non-profit organisation, using our subscriptions for the promotion of our members and of Greater Exmoor.

Membership
The subscription fee for joining the ETA is £18 per year. You can also have web coverage on our website www.exmoor.com from £50 per year. The ETA is now offering coverage on www.visit-exmoor.co.uk and www.activeexmoor.com for no extra charge, giving three opportunities for your advert to be found on the web. To advertise on these three web sites your property will need to be inspected or graded.

LIST (previously Stepping Stones)
We have been working with North Devon + and ETA members are now able to subscribe to the Local Inspection Scheme for Tourism (LIST) - details are downloadable here. The cost of the inspection is £95 (inc. VAT) up to 6 serviced bedrooms or 4 self catering units. There is an additional £5 per serviced bedroom and £10 per self catering unit, up to a maximum of 12 serviced bedrooms and 8 self catering units. The inspection is valid for one year.

The NEW Exmoor 2011 brochure
As part of the Exmoor Tourism Partnership the ETA are pleased to announce the launch of the new Exmoor brochure for 2011. Exmoor 2011 will deliver a fresh new high quality design showcasing Exmoor, West Somerset and the Quantocks to a national audience with one purpose - to attract more visitors and custom for your business for the 2011 season. To find out more and get a copy of the rate card please go to www.exmoortourismpartnership.org.uk.

Benefits of Membership
Membership of the ETA has a number of benefits as well as the ability to have a link on our excellent website. The ETA is the longest established group representing the interests of the tourism industry across Exmoor. We have over two hundred members which means that the ETA representatives have a powerful voice at meetings. The ETA works closely with other tourism groups such as North Devon +, Exmoor National Park and West Somerset Council. Following our continued campaigning for a more unified approach over Exmoor we are pleased to announce that a listing with ETA now means you receive a silver membership listing on www.visit-exmoor.co.uk site run by West Somerset Council and www.activeexmoor.com - giving you three websites for the price of one! Download our membership form (Word doc) here, or PDF membership form here, fill it in and return to our membership secretary above.

Members receive a discount card which entitles them to savings on various goods from selected suppliers in the Exmoor area and receive a quarterly newsletter. Members are able to display the Exmoor Tourist Association logo as a sign of quality and commitment to the area. The ETA also provides three free helplines for members with queries relating to accountancy, insurance and legal matters.

We are the voice of the tourist accommodation and attraction provider on Exmoor - join us and make yourself heard! Our committee is made up of people like you - private business people; and together we can make a difference. If you have any questions about the Exmoor Tourist Association then please do not hesitate to contact us on 07976 789 771 or click on the email link above.
