The Exmoor Sale – Join in and get your Groats in April!

To help promote Exmoor this April and help beat the credit crunch we have introduced our own currency, the Exmoor Groat.  Groats are free and available both online as well as in printed form to hand out wherever possible.

Groats may be exchanged at many participating businesses for a variety of discounts and offers, subject to your own local terms and conditions.

The scheme will be launched on the 1st March with a press release and email campaign which we anticipate will generate some good press coverage.

Entering your business in the scheme is free. Simply enter your business details, what you are offering in return for a Groat, and any terms and conditions you would like to apply. Your entry will be verified before being published.

To help promote the scheme we would also ask, although optional, that you...

1 Print off a poster to display at your premises, perhaps in your window. Click for A5 poster or for A4 poster (with space for description of your offer).

2 Provide a link from your website to www.exmoor.com/groats.htm to encourage people to download Groats.

3 Email other businesses that you think may be interested in joining the scheme.

4 Email your customers telling them about the sale with a link to www.exmoor.com/groats.htm

5 And finally, keep hold of any Groats you receive throughout April as we'll be in touch afterward to see how many you received and how successful the scheme was.
